The National Project “Ultra-low NOx Pulverized Coal Combustion Technology” of LY Power Successfully Completed the Test before Retrofit

Recently, LY Power participated in the national project "ultra-low NOx pulverized coal combustion technology" project of the bottom test in Inner Mongolia Dongsheng Thermal Power Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Guodian Dongsheng Company) 330MW units successfully completed.
"Ultra-low NOx Pulverized Coal combustion Technology" is a key national research and development plan in 2018. This technology enables NOx emission from the boiler to reach 50~100mg/m3 through coal pretreatment technology and in-furnace combustion, and the technical index is at the international leading level. The project was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in May 2018, and LY Power undertook one project and three sub-projects. This test is an important node in the research and development plan in 2019. The NOx emission level of Boiler No. 2 in Dongsheng Thermal Power Co., Ltd. before the transformation and other main operating parameters of the boiler are important basis for the formulation of ultra-low NOx emission transformation technology plan for 300MW and above boilers.

The test was led and organized by the plasma Technology Research and development Department of the company. With the strong support of the boiler clean combustion Division of LY Power and the strong assistance of Guodian Dongsheng Company, the test was successfully completed with the participation of the scientific research personnel of each subject undertaking and participating units. Through this test, the company not only found out the key parameters and operation situation of the 330MW unit of Dongsheng power plant before retrofit, but also laid a solid foundation for the smooth completion of the mid-term index of the project and effectively promoted the development process of the project.
