Scheme of Plasma Ignition and Combustion Stabilization Technology for High-moisture Lignite Passed Review

Recently, the "660MW ultra-supercritical coal unit high-moisture lignite high-power plasma ignition and combustion stabilization technology plan" in Yantai Longyuan has successfully passed the review organized by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering.

The review committee is composed of industry experts from Tsinghua University, China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute, Guodian Science and Technology Research Institute, North China Electric Power University, Guohua Electric Power Research Institute and other well-known universities and enterprises. The review experts reviewed the technical scheme of LY Power in detail, and the scheme passed the review successfully after on-site defense, inquiry and discussion. The review experts agreed that the medium-speed pulverized lignite plasma ignition technology developed by LY Power can reliably ignite more than 35% lignite in full water, which meets the needs of the oil-free power plant construction of Shenhua Shengli Power Plant and can be implemented in the project.

Previously, LY Power was commissioned by Shenhua Shengli Power Plant to carry out the group's science and technology project "Research and application of key Technology of high-moisture lignite boiler high-power plasma oil-free Ignition" research and engineering demonstration. The successful approval of the scheme marks the successful completion of the project development stage, and further expands the application scope of the plasma ignition technology of LY Power, which opens up a new market in the field of high-moisture lignite plasma ignition.
