LY Power’s High-moisture Lignite Plasma Ignition Technical Scheme Passed Review
Recently, the High-power Plasma Ignition and Combustion Stabilization Technical Scheme on 660Mw Ultra-supercritical Coal Unit Burning High-Moisture Lignite by LY Power has successfully passed the review organized by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering.
The review committee was composed of industry experts from tsinghua University, China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute, Guodian Science and Technology Research Institute, North China Electric Power University, Guohua Electric Power Research Institute and other well-known universities and enterprises. The review experts reviewed the technical scheme in detail, which was approved and passed the review successfully after on-site oral examination, inquiry and discussion. The review experts agreed that plasma ignition technology on medium-speed pulverized system with lignite developed by LY Power can reliably ignite lignite with more than 35% moisture content, which meets the technical requirement of the oil-free power plant construction plan of Shenhua Shengli Power Plant and can be implemented in the project.
Previously, LY Power was entrusted by Shenhua Shengli Power Plant to carry out the group corporation's scientific and technological project, Research and Application of Key Technology of High-moisture Lignite Boiler Plasma Oil-free Ignition and its engineering demonstration. The successful approval of the scheme this time by the experts marks the completion of the project development stage, it will further expand the application scope of the plasma ignition technology of LY Power and open up a new market in the field of high-moisture lignite plasma ignition.
