Introduction
LYSC Low-NOx Combustion Technology, based on swirl burner of combustion stabilization technology, low-NOx technology and entire air distribution technology of boilers, realizes NOx emission reduction for wall-firing pulverized coal boilers. LYSC low-NOx burners is developed independently by LY Power. It can adapt to different kinds of coal and reduce NOx generation during combustion without affecting the security and economic efficiency of the unit.
 
 
Features
Enhance pulverized coal stream dense-thin separation: separate pulverized coal stream into dense and thin part. With concentration of dense flow being above 1kg/kg, high dense combustion is realized, which is in favour of restraining NOx generation.
Promote air staging combustion in furnace: the thin stream of pulverized coal is in same direction with inner secondary air flow. Even if OFA rate increases more than 25%, the momentum ratio still be maintained. Base on this the excess air coefficient can be controlled in low level.
Postpone mixing of secondary air: separate thin stream of pulverized coal and secondary air flow from main flow with recirculating zone. Then oxygen supply is put off, that prompts NOx reduction.
Promote combustion by the internal recirculating zone: high temperature flue gas entrained between thin and dense pulverized coal stream, enlarges the heating area and promotes advance ignition and stable combustion.
Flame surrounded with air combustion: avoid burning damage to nozzle and water wall slagging nearby.
 
Application
By March 2020, LYSC Low-NOx Combustion Technology has been applied on 56 wall-firing boilers.
